Who We Are?

Parsimed LLC a privately held company formed in 2016 focused on developing new and innovative technologies and at improving Women’s Health. We partner with top engineering and software companies to develop FDA complaint medical devices based on our propriatory designs. The core technology in our product is protected by a U.S. patent (Patent # US2011/0077500-A1). We will be the only company to offer an option that allows 1) The use of software to measure prolapse rates, and 2) Creation of a digital record of POP measurements.

Our Founder

Our founder, Khashayar Shakiba MD, is a board certified urogynecologist specializing in management of pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, and pelvic floor dysfunction with surgical and nonsurgical alternatives. He has over 20 years of experience in performing complex surgical procedures using the da VinciⓇ robot. He is also Division Director of Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery, Hackensack University Medical Center. And Assistant Professor, Rutgers University. Dr. Shakiba has been an invited as speaker, and has actively participated in most of major national and international scientific event such as American Urogynecology Society(AUGS), The International Urogynecological Association (IUGA), The American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL), European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy( ESGE), for the past decade.


Dr. Shakiba received his MD from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran. He completed his internship at Yale School of Medicine, New Haven, Connecticut and his residency at Case Western Reserve School of Medicine, Metro Health Medical Center/Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Cleveland, Ohio.


Agnes Mrozowska is ParsiMed's clinical coordinator responsible for our clinical study site recruitment and study management. As a clinical coordinator in the Women's Health Division of Parsi Med, Agnes uses her knowledge and experience in spreading awareness to all women across the globe and coordinates educational events in women's health to educate women on the latest technological minimally invasive procedures.
